My condolences go out to the family and friends for their loss. Please know that although Shirley is now resting and has returned to dust (Genesis 3:19), Jehovah God does promise a resurrection (Acts 24:15 & John 5:28,29). Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Hi Stacey, Dave and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I will be praying for you as I know it is not easy to lose someone you love so much. It makes you wish there was more time to say the things you always wanted, to do the things you know she would miss out on, or just the simple moments of sitting without saying or doing anything. I want you to know your Mother may not be here physically but she lives on each and every day in you. The memories you have along with the values you instill in your children will all reflect the love your Mom has given to you.
Love you friend,
Marie
P.S. I am here anytime you need me to listen or talk.

Stacey, Dave and family-
My heart is so saddened for your loss. I'm praying for you. Here is a poem that I hope will comfort you.
Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
By Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.
Love your friend, Kim

I would like you all to know what a great LADY she was to all her friends. We had some wonderful times at birthdays, dinners and just getting together for some special time. We all are going to miss Shirley but she will still be with us! May God bless you all.

Dear ones...this morning, I received this obituary from my friend, Barbara(Burke)Bogaert about Shirley. She was a Gamma Beta Sorority Sister when we all attended in East Haven High School. Maybe she told you about the fun times all of us had together. Anyway, my heart is sad for all of you and for the fact that she is no longer with us. May you have special memories, too that comfort you.

I am blessed to have had Shirley as my friend and I will forever see her very beautiful smile.
So many fun times, birthdays, special days, movies, just fun days were spent with great conversation and much laughter. Her honesty and sense of humor will not be forgotten....we will all laugh remembering so much.
How blessed her family is to have had her for their matriarch and she is now in God's love.
