I was on that Special Smithsonian tour in December, 2014 when B-26 Flak-Bait pilot came to the Virginia Museum. I help out at MHS and WAMM meetings on the B-26 bomber. I just found out from Stan Piel at the Glen Martin Museum in Maryland that Mr. Best died. I wish to give my belated condolences to the family of a real American hero. Steven Swartz

Uncle Buddy, we know you are looking down over us all and watching all the lives you have touched in your 95 years. You are probaly thinking "wow" , I was one loved man" just want you to know that Yes, u were. We know that you are with Jenny and Jimmy which gives me some solace. As you start on your new journey just remember, you were our Angel on earth and set a great example of how a family man should be. We must let you rest now which wont be easy, but you left a legacy that could never be cloned. Thank you for being you!. "Fly uncle for you are free".

Linda, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He truly was a special and talented person. I would think that all Fathers can only wish to have a daughter as loyal, caring and dedicated as you Linda. You raised the bar for all daughters! We send our sympathies to you and your family. All our love in this difficult time, Milton and Ricki
