Obituary of Peter Hydock

Peter Hydock, 59, of East Haven and East Hartford passed away April 7, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born November 5, 1956 in New Haven to Joseph and Margaret (Fager) Hydock. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joseph Hydock Jr. and sister, Greata Lydon. Peter is survived by twin sister, Paula Hydock of East Hartford, sisters, Heidi Hydock of Hamden and Helen Stevens of East Haven. Peter is also survived by 7 nieces/nephews and numerous great nieces/nephews. Peter was a graduate of East Haven High School in 1974. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford Plant for over 25 years as a quality control inspector. Peter loved his family, his job, his pets “Buster and “Sadie”, classic cars and spending time around the house and yard. A special “thank you” to all of Peter’s colleagues at Pratt and Whitney and the nurses and staff of St. Francis Hospital for their support and kindness. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 4 PM until the time of service at 7 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at east Lawn Cemetery.
