Pedro Bodon 87 of New Haven passed away peacefully on March 25, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born November 1, 1928 in Puerto Rico to Pedro and Gregoria (Figueroa) Bodon. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ana E. Anitin (Rosario) Bodon and daughter, Malin Bodon. Pedro is survived by six loving children, son, Antonio Bodon and five daughters, Angela Torres (Roberto), Miriam Bello (Rodolfo), Gladys Reyes (Ray), Dalila Ortiz (Miguel) and Norma Cubero (Antonio) all of New Haven. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Pedro worked as a grounds keeper at the New Haven Country Club in Hamden until his retirement in 1994. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved to travel and visit his family in Puerto Rico. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 29 at 9:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 115 Blatchley Ave., New Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery in East Haven.
