Francis “Frank” Schiavone 64 of New Haven passed away February 23, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born February 19, 1952 in New Haven to Lawrence and Christine (Nuzzo) Schiavone. Frank is preceded in death by his father and sister, Lorraine Schiavone. Frank is survived by his mother, Christine, loving wife of 24 years, Shannon (Bean) Schiavone and two sisters, Sallyann Cooley (John) of Enfield and Barbara Civitelli (Frank) of Enfield. Francis is also survived by several nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews and many dear friends.
Frank had a very deep love for all animals, especially his cats that he rescued. His passion for his barracuda, army trucks and trains are insurmountable, but his love and care for his wife Shannon is beyond all.
Family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service at 12 (Noon) on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Greater New Haven Cat Project, 965 State Street, New Haven CT 06511 in memory of Frank Schiavone.
