Irene (Pergamalis) Bowe 90 of New Haven passed away peacefully on January 30, 2016. She was born December 11, 1925 in New Haven to William and Diamond Pergamalis. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Bowe (1990) and great grandson, Ryan Monesmith. Irene is survived by four loving children, Jacqueline Garitta (Michael) of Brasstown, NC, Dorothy Campagnuolo of West Palm Beach, FL, William Bowe (Michele) of Guilford and Richard Bowe (Janice) of Middletown, CT. Irene is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sisters, Claire Gagliardi of New Haven and Mary Gagliardi of New Haven and a brother, Nick Pergamalis of Key Largo, FL. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family. Along with spending time with her family, she loved cooking for her children and grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 4 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home at 10 AM with burial to follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
