Mae (Rockwell) Ennever 90 of East Haven passed away October 26, 2015. She was born May 14, 1925 in New Haven to Walter and Grace (Tillman) Rockwell. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank “Bud” Ennever (1997) and four brothers; Roland Rockwell, George Rockwell, Jack Rockwell and Walter Rockwell. Mae is survived by her five loving children; Craig Ennever (Patricia) of West Haven, Scott Ennever of East Haven, Mark Ennever of East Haven, Ellen Zemina (Scott) of Wallingford and Stuart Ennever of New Haven. Mae is also survived by five grandchildren; Christopher Ennever (Christine), Cheryl Lewis (Erin), Jeff Ennever, Lisa Ennever, Stacey Lombardo (Matt), four great grandchildren; Katelyne Daylida, Samantha Ennever, Aiden Woods and Amaya Jackson and a sister-in-law, Mary Rockwell of East Haven. Mae was formerly employed as bank teller, then working at Fairmont Foods and later at CT Laminating. Mae was very proud of her family; she loved spending time with them all. She enjoyed vacation, traveling and playing cards on Friday night. Mae had a deep faith and was very eager to serve and support her place of worship, the Old Stone Church. Family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM ,Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, at 11 AM in the Old Stone Church, 251 Main Street East Haven with burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Old Stone Church, 251 Main Street, East Haven CT 06512 or Smilow Cancer Center, 20 York Street, New Haven CT 06510 in memory of Mae Ennever.
