Obituary of Diane Doran

Diane (Yocher) Doran 70 of Guilford and Branford passed away October 23, 2015 at St. Raphael Hospital of Yale New Haven. She was born December 8, 1944 in Tampa, FL to Robert and Millicent (Bonnefond) Yocher. She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Carl Kandetzki and Wallace Walter Doran. Diane is survived by her son, Charles Kandetzki (Marcia McGuire) of Washington, sisters, Suzanne Manley (Elaine Begley) of Riverview, FL and Jane Colavolpe (Leo) of Lebanon, Maine. Diane was the beloved aunt to many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. Diane graduated from Branford High School and then attended Stone Business School. She was a retired employee of SNET. Family, church and music were the joys of her life. Diane’s triumphs over all difficult times in her life were sustained by her unwavering faith. Her most loving, caring nature made even the strangers feel welcome in her presence. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10 AM in Trinity Episcopal Church, 1109 Main Street, Branford. Burial to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Diane Doran.
