Obituary of Joan Kruschka

Joan Kruschka 60 of East Haven passed away June 24, 2015 at CT Hospice. She was born December 17, 1954 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of William Sr. and Joan (Hains) Kruschka. She is preceded in death by parents, brother, William Kruschka Jr., sister, Robin Kruschka and nephew, Tad Petersen. Joan is survived by loving sisters, Elizabeth Reimund of East Haven, Lynn Hallaran of MN, Susan Zygmunt of Southington and a brother, Philip Kruschka (Barbara) of Michigan. Joan is also survived by niece, Kerri Reimund, nephew, Kevin Reimund, both of East Haven and several other nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. A 1972 graduate of East Haven High School, Joan completed her undergraduate degree in 1976 from Fairfield University & a Master of Science degree in 1977 from Michigan State University. She worked for the First National Bank of Atlanta, the Atlanta Braves & the Atlanta Falcons in the 1980’s & before returning to Connecticut in 1990.At the time of her death she was employed by Harland-Clarke as a Major Accounts Manager. Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private in family plot in New Jersey.
