Obituary of Emma Bushell

Emma (Voegtli) Bushell 99, lifelong resident of Madison, passed on May 13, 2015 at The Hearth at Tuxis Pond in Madison. She was born on April 2, 1916 in Madison to John and Tillie (Boon) Voegtli Kelsey.. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Richard Voegtli, Milton Voegtli, Mary V. Goodale, Elizabeth Voegtli, Helen Voegtli. Emma is survived by her loving son Bruce Bushell (Debbie) of East Haven. She is also survived by several nieces and great nieces and great nephews. Emma was long time member of the North Madison Congregational Church who worked on many church supers. Family was very important to Emma as was her garden.The family would like thank the staff of The Hearth at Tuxis Pond for the care and attention they gave Emma. As well as the staff of Vitas Healthcare. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service at Hammonassett Cemetery 65 River Road, Madison on May 29, 2015 at noon.
