Marie Ann (DeMartino) Smith 71 of New Haven passed away May 9, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born February 6, 1944 in New Haven to Vincent and Frances DeMartino. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Vernon Smith and brothers, Vincent and Joseph DeMartino. Marie is survived by loving daughter, Frances Smith of New Haven and many close friends. Marie was retired employee of Echlin Manufacturing.
Family will receive friends from 8:30 – 10:15 AM on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave at 10:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church, Ferry Street, New Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
