Richard Bowe (ret. NHFD) 64 of East Haven passed away March 30, 2015 at home. He was born May 5, 1950 in New Haven to Francis and Ann (Birrell) Bowe. Richard is survived by his loving mother, Ann Bowe, daughter, Patricia Seymour (Charlie) of North Branford and two grandchildren, Cory and Stephanie Seymour. He is also survived by sister, Judith Clarke (Brian) of TN, niece, Nicole Henderson (Steve) and great niece, Kelsey Henderson. Richard was a New Haven Fire Department firefighter with over 28 years of service, retiring in 2001. He was an active member of Branford Elks Lodge #1939 and auxiliary member of the Guilford VFW.
Funeral services are in the care of Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the Branford Elks Club in the near future.
