Obituary of Marie Massaro

Marie Massaro 86 of East Haven, formerly of Wallingford passed away March 25, 2015 at home with her nephew Steven and niece Nancy at her side. She was born April 14, 1928 in New Haven to Peter and Frances (Fiorentino) Massaro. She is preceded in death by parents and brother, Vincent Massaro and his wife, Louise. Marie is survived by brother, Phillip Massaro (Mabel), nephews, Steven Massaro (Nancy) of East Haven, with who Marie resided, Peter Massaro and wife, Thomas Massaro (Sandy), niece, Carolyn Foster and husband, six grandnieces/nephews and five great grandnieces/nephews. Marie was a lifelong employee of Safety Electrical Company in Hamden with over 45 years of service. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and traveling. The Massaro family wishes to thank the entire CT Hospice staff and the many private home healthcare aides for the loving care and attention bestowed upon Marie. Family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, at 9:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
