Gerald Albert 71 of East Haven passed away March 19, 2015 at CT Hospice. He was born April 1, 1943 in New Brunswick, Canada to Leo and Bertha (Michaud) Albert. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Alberic Albert and Jean Jacques Albert. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Janet (Scarangello) Albert, daughters, Linda Henson and Kate Williams, a son, Matthew Albert and four grandchildren. Gerald is also survived by six siblings; Rino Albert (Dawn), Rina Lirette (Ola), Nicole Michaud (Jacques), Ronald Albert (Geraldine), Marcellin Albert and Guy Albert. Gerald was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and former employee of OTIS Elevator. He was a member of American Legion Post 83 in Branford, VFW Post 12106 in Branford and the Branford Elks Lodge.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday March 25, 2015 in St. Clare Catholic Church, 234 Coe Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at a later date in East Lawn Cemetery. Funeral services are in the care of Clancy Funeral Home in East Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beech Rd., Branford CT 06405 in memory of Gerald Albert.
