Theodore “Ted” Lipp Jr. 49 of East Haven passed away March 19, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born November 10, 1965 in New Haven to Theodore Lipp and Lorraine (Freitag) Montesi. Ted is survived by his mother, Lorraine Montesi of East Haven, son, Theodore Lipp III of New Haven, daughter, Shana Lipp of North Haven and companion, Monique DeRosa of New Haven. Ted is also survived by his aunt, Patricia Fox (Bruce) of North Carolina. Ted worked for a construction company in Branford. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed boating, his family, and making/doing tattoos.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9:45 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to East Haven Animal Shelter, 189 Commerce St., East Haven CT 06512 in memory of Theodore Lipp Jr.
