The whole time I was growing up Katherine was a presence in our lives. She was good friends with the sisters, Anna and Mary Martone, cousins of Angelo. Anna was my mother. When I could drive I would go to Katherine's for Stanley products and she would always take time to visit with me. She always seemed interested in what I had to say.
I enjoyed her company. My sympathy goes out to her family at this time.
