Obituary of Nicole Calandro

Nicole Calandro, 30, of East Haven passed away December 28, 2014. She was born March 25, 1984 in New Haven. She is survived by parents, Anthony Calandro, Jr. and Berndette (Barboza) Calandro (companion Louis Ornato) and two children, Armando and Arianna Adorno. Siblings, Amanda Calandro and Anthony Calandro III. Nicole is also survived by paternal grandparents, Anthony Calandro Sr. (Cynthia) of East Haven. She is preceded in death by father of her children, Armando Adorno, maternal grandparents, Joseph Barboza (Beatrice), and paternal aunt Maureen Kish, maternal uncles Richard and Gerald Barboza, and cousin Matthew Barboza. Nicole is also survived by Aunt Laurie (Calandro) Carlson & Steve Carlson, Cheryl Calandro, Uncle Joseph Barboza, and Niece Meadow Marie Stout. Nicole is also survived by many loving cousins, great aunts and uncles. Nicole may have been short in stature but her heart, care and compassion for others was beyond the limits of heights. Nicole was born to be a mother, she took care of and protected her siblings growing up, and when she had her two children she was the loving, caring mother any woman would aspire to be. Nicole's smile and positivity was infectious, you could turn to her at any time and she had the ability to make all your worries disappear. Nicole will continue to live on through her children, as she has passed on her vivacious personality and the ability to care for others limitlessly. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 9-11am at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral service will be at 11 AM in the funeral home followed by Committal at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
