Obituary of Mary Ann Lombardy

In Chester, CT, Nov 8.2008, Mary Ann Lombardy, 93, a resident of the Chesterfield Health Care Center, Chester, formerly of Old Lyme. Sister of August “Gus” Lombardi of New Haven, Lucy Vancore of East Haven, Lena DePalma of Hamden, Celia DePalma of Hamden ant the late Minnie Porto, Frank Lombardi and John Lombardi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born November 17, 1914 in Orange, a daughter of the late Antonio and Anna Espo Della Cioppa Lombardi, she was a graduate of West Haven High School and for many years was the owner of a nursery school in Nyack, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 11:00 in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
