Dear Mark Jr. & Michael:
I want you both to know that your dad was very dear to me, and as his friend I want you to know if either of you need anything-I will do my very best to help in any way I can. You can contact me anytime, day or night on my cell phone (203)530-8483. Please give my love to your mom & tell her to call me when she wants to go have that drink. I'm pretty sure we both could use one after this. Your dad loved you both and talked of both your futures and how he saw your special gifts. Mark Jr.-He loved your heart as it mimicked his own, huge and full of love. Michael-Dad loved your eagerness to learn and committment to a better life. He was so proud of you both and wanted so much to go fishing with you and your kids some day. Please be good to yourselves and always know that you have a friend where ever you go. Lora
Thank you,
Lora Girimonte

Mark was a faithful student of the bible and a dear friend. I knew Mark for several years from multiple hours of telephone conversation regarding the bible through our at-home DVD ministry, Grace & Truth Ministries in Hendersonville, TN.; unfortunately I did not get to meet him in person. Now he seems to be even more dear to me. I had the privilege of speaking with him briefly, for the last time just one day prior to his leaving. We were discussing an errand we had to complete for the ministry TV program in East Haven & Guilford. I miss him.

I was trying to find a reason to smile as I said good-bye to my old friend, and then it came to me.... Mark trying desperately to sing a solo when he was about 14 years old as his voice was changing, and everyone else playing louder to drown him out. Thankfully he found his voice and graced us with his enormous talent and loving spirit. I will always miss his kind heart, warm smile, and genuine soul.

I met Mark when he was just 15 years old, an adorable, fun loving teen with many hopes and dreams for his music. He was the bass player for a band in which my daughter, Lora sang. He always made us laugh; however, even then was very serious about his music. I love Mark and all the kids in the band -they are a dear part of our family: Frankie Keyes - Lead Guitar; Roland - keyboard player; Carl; Chuck Stewart (Lora's cousin) - drummer. I remember especially a "prank" pulled by he and the guys during a trip to upper state New York where they did an exceptional job. "Mark, you are loved and you will be missed terribly - I for one, will always smile when I think of you." Love you, Glenna (Mom)
