Marvin King 83 of East Haven passed away peacefully after a long illness on August 1, 2014 at Talmadge Park in East Haven. He is preceded in death by wife, Mary (Kubicza) King and four brothers: William, Ray “Mickey”, George and Jimmy King. Marvin is survived by son, Francis King (Karen Ferone King) of East Haven, grandchildren, John King and Maribeth King, sister, Margaret King and a sister-in-law, Lorraine King.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 5 from 5 to 7 PM at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Rd, (Rt.80) East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Marvin was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to Boys Town, Saving Families, Healing Children, 14100 Crawford St., Boys Town NE 68010 in memory of Marvin King.
