Evelyn....my dear friend for forty-three years...there are no words to express how I feel. I read the obituaries this morning as I always do, and yours, was the first face I saw. I'm shocked, saddened and my heart is with Evelyn (my Godchild), Carrie, and the whole family. You were a wonderful and beloved wife, a loving and devoted mother and Grandmother. You always put everyone else first, and through all of your struggles, and sacrifices you always rose to the top. I will miss you so much, our special memories of our time together in Germany, when our mother's came to visit us together......you had just come home from the hospital with beautiful Evelyn, and I was pregnant with Andrew. I know you are with the Lord, and your loved ones, happy and healthy,and of course looking down on those you left behind. R.I.P my friend, I will never forget you and think of you often. Evelyn......gone too soon.
