God saw you were getting tied, And a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you and whispered,(come to me.) A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. Love; Dolores

It was with sadness that I learned of the passing of your sister Sharyn. She was a tireless worker in both the causes of the elderly and in the political arena I knew her best as a co-worker in the elderly services department, where she displayed her compassion for her most vulnerable clients. Many of the residents here at Bella Vista have spoken to me about support and advice she gave them that helped them through difficult times. May that be the testimony of her life.

Sharon; I know that you will never leave us, it is just that God needed an angel and wanted to take you out of your pain. Pain that most of the world could not even imagine,no one could have continued God!s task so much work so much pain no time to rest. You walked in the snow a day after your surgery to help the seniors here at Bella Vista. You always looked so beautiful not many new or those who chose not to beleive so that they did not give that helping hand you needed. You starte in 1974 at Bella Vista, many don!t know conpace, was a program you helped to initiate on Conn. The Food Bank here,Form!s for what ever the agency that could help people. Rental Rebates, bus trips for the seniors, helping them get money if they needed it even if it came out of your pocket. In so many ways you reminded me of Rosa Parks, you had to fight to the end. I!ll miss your calls, visits ,and the only person I know Who could make the city of New Haven and all its polititions, in city hall shake. You battled for your seniors till God took you to a place in heaven,Your not gone , your in my heart and many hearts save my place Sandy.

Very sorry to read about the loss of Sharyn. I lived on Peck St., around the corner, and knew Sharyn as a friend and neighbor back in the day. Although I haven't seen her in many years, she was an unforgettable friend.
My heart goes out to you all. Please accept my deepest sympathy, and hope it helps to know that I share your sadness.
