Dennis Michael Deko, 59, of West Haven, formerly of East Haven and New Haven, passed away March 16, 2014 at home. He was born July 23, 1954 in New Haven to Butch and Dorothy (Ralston) Deko. He is preceded in death by parents and brother, Brian Deko. Dennis is survived by brother, Butchie Deko of North Branford, sister, Renee Deko of West Haven and numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins. Dennis graduated in 1972 from East Haven High School. Dennis was a kind person who loved music, old movies and animals. His smile will be remembered and missed by all.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20th, from 4 – 7 pm at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, CT. A brief service will be held at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT, 06450 or Humane Society, 2100 L Street N.W., Washington, D.C., 20037 in memory of Dennis Michael Deko.
