Death of a loved one is never easy. May you find an abundance of comfort in your family, friends and especially the future blessings found in God's word. He has promised to swallow up death forever and reunite us with all who fall asleep in death. (Isaiah 25:8, John 5:28,29) As a God of love who cannot lie we can certainly trust all he says to come true. (1 John 4:8 & Titus 1:2) It is my hope that these words and the fond memories of your loved one sustain you through this most difficult time.

My Sympathies to the whole family, especially Dani who I have the pleasure of working with at. I have known your family on and off through different people for many years, living next to you in the Hemingway Apartments, then Lorenzo hanging out with Joey and now me working with Dani. My heartfelt sympathies may God's Angels surround your mom with nothing but his love and comfort and may he send those precious angels to wrap their arms around your family and your little daughter. May the Lord in his Mercy touch your little one to help her understand the loss of the grandparent. Please believe that God works in mysterious ways and I believe that we all go to a better place after this life. Know that your mom is still here for a few weeks as spirits linger, touching their loved ones before they make the transition to heaven. Please know she is still very much with you and take a deep breath and feel her love. God Bless all of you and although it is hard to believe time does heal all wounds, not permanently, but little by little it will get easier.

I am very sorry for the loss of your loved one. God has promised to, one day soon, eliminate death forever, along with all sickness, pain, and sorrow. (Rev.21:4) God has also promised to reunite us with our dear loved ones on a restored Paradise earth. The Bible says he longs to do this. (John 5:28,29; Job 14:14,15) I hope these scriptures will bring you comfort and peace.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
