Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth McCaul

Sharon Elizabeth McCaul, 48 of East Haven, passed away January 12, 2014 at Ct Hospice. She was born August 22, 1965 to William and Janet (Rostkowski) McCaul. She is survived by parents and brother, Brian McCaul. Sharon graduated from East Haven High School, Boston College and the University of Rhode Island; she was a speech language pathologist. She worked for the Fairfield Board of Education in the Early Childhood Center .Sharon was published in her field on working with autism. She was a world traveler and particularly loved New York City. Sharon was honored to be sponsored by Dr. Maynard of New York City and the Knights of Malta to a healing week in Lourdes, France in 2010. She was especially grateful to her very caring physician, Dr. Robert Aaronson. Sharon touched the lives of many with her un-daunting spirit, joy for life and her striving to live life to the fullest. Family and friends are invited to attend a 11 AM Memorial Mass in St Stanislaus Church, State St. New Haven, Ct on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Burial will be private.
