Obituary of Timothy Rosa

Tim Rosa, 52 of New Haven, passed away on November 2, 2013. He was born November 11, 1960 in New Haven to George and Phyllis (Onofrio) Rosa. Tim is survived by his mother, loving wife of 24 years, Cheryl (Paule) Rosa and three sons; Michael Rosa (Nina) of New Haven, Nicholas Rosa of New Haven, Justin Rosa of New Haven and four grandchildren; Michael Rosa Jr., Gianni Rosa, Jackson Rosa and Aeriona Rosa. Tim is also survived by brothers; Vincent Rosa (Pam) of East Haven, Daniel Rosa (Debbie) of North Haven, sister; Donna McNamara (Kevin) of Killingworth, Sandra Rosa of New Haven, dear friends, Midge and Dawn Carranzo of Wallingford, the “lost boys of Fair Haven” and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim was an avid biker who enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife Cheryl. Tim was a family man; he cherished and loved his family. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all. Tim was employed at Tilcon and was a member of Teamster’s Local #443. He also served Council 3733 in North Haven as a Third Degree, Knights of Columbus. Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Tim’s life on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Axles Club House, 2344 Foxon Road, North Branford from 11 to 3 PM, at which time the family will speak. In lieu of flowers or donations Tim would want you to attend his celebration.
