Obituary of Elizabeth Henley

Elizabeth M. “Betsy” Henley, 46 of East Haven, lost her battle with cancer on February 16, 2013 at CT Hospice. She was born November 19, 1966 in New Haven to the late Robert W. and Elizabeth F. (Franklin) Henley. Betsy is survived by her brother, Timothy K. Henley and his wife Debra K. (Karpowicz) of East Haven, nephew, William E. Henley and niece, Lily A. Henley. Betsy enjoyed spending her free time outdoors; she could be found taking her daily walk down the trolley tracks with her close and dear friend, Kevin Moran. Betsy was a true Mets and Giants fan, no matter how bad the season, she remained loyal. She was a long time employee of Mercury Fuel where she leaves behind many friends. Family and Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, February 19 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 5 Hillhouse Ave., New Haven with the procession leaving at 9:15 AM from Clancy Funeral Home.
