In New Haven, Aug.28, 2012, Barry M. Langlan, 71, of Branford. Beloved husband of Barbara Daniels Langlan.Loving father of Sandy (Bob) Chappuis of East Haven, Steve (Kristina) Langlan of Northford and Diane (Keith) Wortz of Cheshire. Cherished grandfather of Morgan and Matthew Chappuis, Steven, Kyle, Jessica and Charlie Langlan, Shawna, Kristian, Cecilia and Maggie Wortz and the late Christian Chappuis. Brother of Bruce (Ruth) Langlan of MA. Born Dec.6 1940 in Boston, MA a son of the late Robert A. Langlan and Lois Stengel Somerville, he earned his BA and MBA degrees from Northeastern University and was employed for many years in the oil industry as an office worker and was also a self employed accountant. Mr. Langlan was a faithful member of Christ and The Epiphany Episcopal Church in East Haven where he was a former treasurer and vestry member. He was a longtime baseball umpire and member of the GNHBUA and enjoyed fishing, UCONN Women's Basketball and all Boston sports.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,Saturday morning at 10:30. Service in Christ and The Epiphany Church at 11:00. Interment will be private. Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ and The Epiphany Church, 39 Park Pl., East Haven, Ct 06512
