Dear Family:
I, sadly, was unable to come Saturday as I had a previous committment. There are so many nice things to say about Mr. L., and I am sure they were expressed that day. I knew him as a most knowledgable man,a thinker and a Good Samarian. This was probably the reason why he had so many friends.
It was a privilege to know him.
