I will miss Katherine, she liked to go to the LDS Temple with the ladies of our church.
I took Katherine to some of her Doctor
appointments. Helped clean her place and brought her food when she was not
feeling well. I was in California, visiting my daughter when katherine passed away, I would have been to her funeral otherwise.
Would have liked to meet her family.
my love and prayers to you.

I will always remember your passion for life and those you loved. Every time I look at "El Diablo" (your little black cat now in our care), I think of you, the many stories, recipes and crochet patterns we exchanged. It's hard to believe that such a short time ago you were the life of the party who kept us entertained on those trips to the Jordan River Temple. What comfort it brings to know that you found peace in having accomplished what was most important to you.

We loved Katherine and Rex. We grew very close to Katherine after Rex passed. Katherine was a fighter. She had a shy and sometimes tough outward appearance but was soft and loving inside. We knew when she called us for help she really needed it. She told us she kept people away because she'd been hurt in various life experiences. We had the privilege of knowing the real Katherine. She was a special one-of-a-kind lady. She loved little children. She went the extra mile for them. She loved her family and was so proud of her son, Phil and his fiance, Alice. She was a master at knitting and crocheting and gave many pieces to friends and those in need. The Gospel of Jesus Christ lets us know she is home with HIM, with her husband Rex, and her family members who have preceded her in death. We are grateful to have known her. We will miss her very much.
